US Attorney: Colo. Springs man spent $4K on child porn

A federal grand jury in Denver has indicted Clifton Brett Bennett, 55, of Colorado Springs, on one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of posession of child pornography. According to the indictment, Bennett purchased nearly 100 child pornography videos over a number of years, spending nearly $4,000. A search of his home turned up nude images of young boys on his computer. Investigators say that Bennett is a member of the "North American Man-Boy Love Association." Bennett is being held without bond while he is awaiting trial. If convicted, he faces between 5 and 20 years in prison, and up to a $250,000 fine.
