Update: Wildfire near Beulah now 75% contained

Fire crews from multiple agencies are currently fighting a 6 acre wildfire on North Creek Road in Beulah. The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says 10 homes in the area were evacuated earlier in the day, but those evacuations have since been lifted, and the homes are no longer considered in danger.

The fire was first reported at 11:00 a.m. and when fire crews arrived they reported 6 foot flames. Fire bosses say they now have 50% containment and believe they will keep the fire from spreading due to high humidity and calm winds.

News 5 has a crew in Beulah and will continue to update this story throughout the day.
