UPDATE: Springs teen victim of sex trafficking ring

Grand jury indictment claims 17 year old Colorado Springs girl did not return home from school in May because she was suspended and instead went to her ex boyfriend's house.

Her ex boyfriend Daivean Shields, then arranged for her to be taken to Denver to make money. She was driven there by a man named "Big Homey" who's real name is David Glen Abney. She was taken without her parents' consent.

She was taken to a house where she was taught how to be a prostitute and how to identify undercover police officers.

She performed numerous sex acts on men in the Denver area and she was advertised on a website as an escort.

A Colorado Springs teen was kidnapped and forced into prostitution, according to a grand jury indictment handed down in Denver.

The 24 count indictment charges a group of people of running the sex ring and kidnapping the teenager and coercing her into prostitution.

David Glenn Abney, 32, Tevin Willis,19, Chrystal Terbush, 28, and Daivean Shields, 19, are facing several charges including child trafficking, kidnapping and pimping of a child.

All are in custody except Willis.
