Highway 67 is closed about one mile north of Cripple Creek because of a sinkhole according to the Teller County Sheriff's Office. They are responding as well as C-DOT to manage traffic and begin repairs.

The photo was provided by Colorado State Patrol.

No word on the cause of the sinkhole or when HWY 67 will reopen. State Patrol says traffic to Cripple Creek should take CR 82.
