UPDATE: Shooting at 401 N. Nevada Ave

A shooting in the entryway of a home at 401 N. Nevada Ave in Colorado Springs left one man in the hospital with a gunshot wound to the torso.

Officials say all parties involved are being questioned and Major Crimes is working to determine if the shooting was accidental. Police say there is no threat to the community and believe it was an isolated incident. "We're checking it out and seeing if there are criminal charges or if it's accidental. If it is accidental we won't be holding someone in custody overnight or any other time," Sgt. Jim Jeffcoat told News 5.
