The El Paso County Sheriff's Office confirms that a juvenile was hit by a train around 1:30 Saturday morning, however they aren't releasing much more for now as the investigation continues.

Sgt. Joe Roybal with the Sheriff's office tells News 5 that there's not a current update on the juvenile's medical condition.

There's also no word on what the juvenile was doing by the railroad tracks; Sgt. Roybal says there is some speculation at this point, but they won't release any details until the results from the investigation are in.

The individual was found around 1:30 Saturday morning at the tracks near Mitchell Avenue and Monument Lake, west of I-25.
