UPDATE: SB N Academy and Platte Ave accident cleared

Crews from the Colorado Springs Fire and Police Departments have cleared the intersection from Southbound N. Academy and Westbound Platte Ave following a two car accident that sent two people to local hospitals. One victim was transported in critical condition. No updates on the victim's condition have been released since they were transported.
Police have not yet released a probably cause for the accident.
