Colorado Springs Police have made the decision to stand-down and let the suspect involved in an earlier domestic custody situation cool down on his own. Officers spent some time and resources containing an area at the Arbor Pointe apartments in the 2500 block of Hancock Expressway trying to reach a man involved in the incident. Because police were not able to get proof of a physical threat between a man and his estranged wife and no crime was actually witnessed, supervisors felt it was best to let the situation repair itself.
Police have determined that there is no threat to the surrounding community.
