UPDATE: Police ask parents to pick up children at Frontier Elementary

COLORADO SPRINGS - All parents of students who attend Frontier Elementary in Academy School District 20 are being asked to pick their children up at the school. This includes students who would normally walk home.
Police department spokeswoman Barbara Miller tells News 5 it is safer for the children not to walk through the neighborhood while the man is barricaded inside his home on Thundercloud Dr.
