UPDATE: Police now say no foul play at S. Nevada death

Colorado Springs Police say they do not suspect foul play in the death of man found in a room at the Chief Motel located at 1624 S. Nevada Ave Sunday morning.
Fire fighters originally found the man, when they were called to the motel for a mattress fire. Witnesses say the hotel manager kicked in the door and tried to extinguish the fire.
Fire crews quickly called police who conducted an investigation, finding no foul play. The El Paso County Coroner will follow up with a manner and cause of death. Investigators have been unable to identify the man.
