UPDATE: One arrested after 7-11 shooting

Colorado Springs police have arrested one person after at least 20 shots were fired at a 7-11 Store Saturday night.

The shooting happened just before 8:30 p.m. at the location on E. Fountain Blvd. near Chelton. Police say it started as a fight between two groups in the parking lot and escalated when shots were fired. Two peopl were taken to Memorial Hospital by an unknown person; one with a gunshot wound to his shoulder, another was hit in the chin. Neither of those victim's injuries are considered life threatening.

Bryan Anthony Batts, 25, has been arrested. Officers recovered a sawed off shotgun and one handgun after locating one of the vehicles involved in the disturbance. but police are still searching for another vehicle involved in that disturbance. That car is a described as a black vehicle with four doors that was hit with gunshots.

In all, police found about 20 shell casings from the scene and they say the 7-11 store was damaged by some of those bullets.
