Update: Murder suspect standoff

Colorado Springs Police have confirmed to us that 24 year old Michael Arangio is still held up in an apartment near the intersection of Rockhurst and Collegiate.

Just moments ago, police tear gassed the apartment but Arangio still has not surrendered yet. He has told police he will not surrender.

Police now believe he is in the apartment alone. They also believe he is armed.

We'll keep you updated with the latest as we get it in.
