Update: Mobile home destroyed in late night fire

A late Wednesday night fire destroyed a mobile home in a Colorado Springs community in Cimarron Hills.
The fire department was called to a structure fire around 11:40 p.m. Fire investigators say the one person inside the home was able to escape with no injuries. The owner told neighbors he was in the shower when he heard voices in the other room, but when he went to check, the room was on fire. However, the fire department has not yet ruled it arson.
Fire Chief Matt Love says the significant damage to the home has made it unlivable. The owner let neighbors know he's staying with relatives in the meantime.
Chief Love says it's too early to tell what the cause of the fire was, and that crews will be out investigating throughout the morning.
