First Alert meteorologist Mike Daniels says a heavier band of rain is about to cross over the Waldo Canyon burn scar west of Colorado Springs. The burn scar has avoided heavy rain for most of the evening, but more is falling now.
A flood warning is in place for the Waldo Canyon burn scar until 2:30 a.m.
The city of Colorado Springs is under a flood warning until 2:00 a.m.
Live Doppler Radar shows the rain lightening up south of Colorado Springs.
Another band of rain is moving north along the I-25 corridor toward El Paso County.
