Update: Man shot by Colorado Springs Police officer dies of injuries

Colorado Springs Police says a man shot by a police officer in the early morning hours of Tuesday has died from his injuries. According to police 23-year-old Robert Kresky first led officers on a high speed chase before crashing into a police cruiser along Bijou. Police say Kresky was fired at as he got out of the car and ran. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The officer involved was placed on routine administrative leave while the incident is investigated.
