Tuesday night, the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office arrested Andres Ortiz, 21, in connection with a deadly stabbing. Investigators say Juan Martinez died, following a stabbing in Salt Creek around 1:30 Tuesday morning. It happened on the 1600 block of San Pedro St. Deputies say there was a disturbance involving three men yelling and possibly intoxicated. Ortiz is charged with second degree murder.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found two men with multiple stab wounds. Both were rushed to Parkview hospital. The Pueblo County Coroner says Juan Martinez, 37, died from his wounds.

Deputies later contacted a third man in connection to the stabbing, who was also injured. He was taken to St. Mary-Corwin hospital and was treated and released.

The sheriff's office continues to investigate. No suspect information has been released at this time.
