Update: Lake Minnequa fire now 95% contained

Fire crews say the brush fire on Pueblo's southside is now 95% contained. The fire sparked just before 2:00 p.m. this afternoon between Lake Minnequa and Pueblo Blvd. It burned about 70 acres of brush and grass near the lake. No structures were damaged, fire crews say the main concern for residents in the area was the thick smoke.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
