UPDATE: Cimarron Hills FD has knocked down flames from chimney fire

Cimarron Hills Fire Department with mutual aide from Colorado Springs and Falcon Fire Departments has reported the fire at 7075 Palmer Park Blvd, east of Powers Blvd. as fully extinguished.

Falcon Fire Department responded with one engine and Colorado Springs Fire Department responded with one engine and one ladder truck.

Initial crews arrived reporting flames from the base of a chimney and heavy smoke from the chimney and home. There has been a report of at least one injury, but no word on what the extent is at this time.
