Update: Chief Motel shooting

Sheriff's deputies in El Paso County are looking for a woman they say hit a deputy with her car.
It happened just after 7pm on Tuesday night. Deputies were at the Chief Motel off S. Nevada looking for a suspect when 27 year old Kirsten Vargas pulled up. The sheriff's office tells us she's wanted on several warrants. When deputies tried to stop her they say she took off in her car, running over a deputy's foot. His injuries were minor.
As Vargas left the scene, investigators tell us the deputy shot at Vargas as she drove off. It's not known if she was hit or not.
Vargas was last seen driving a silver Hyundai Accent with Colorado plates of 134-RLA. Those plates are reported stolen.
