UPDATE: Caught on tape: suspected drunk hit and run driver cuffed

A man who police believe was driving drunk and left the scene of a three car rollover accident near Memorial Hospital was taken into custody while hiding in the backyard of a home nearby. UPDATE: Boulder is closed in both directions between Institute and Franklin.
The accident happened at the intersection of Boulder and Prospect at roughly 12:10 p.m. Friday.
The two other drivers were injured, one of them critically after being trapped beneath a pick up truck that had rolled.
A homeowner who lives next door to the house where the man was hiding was called by his neighbor who said her dog was acting funny. He ran out to alert the authorities that the suspect of where the man was hiding.
The man who was taken into custody is facing multiple charges including vehicular assault and DUI.
