Hundreds of new jobs are coming to Pueblo as the U.S. government prepares to destroy a large chemical stockpile.
Bechtel Team Pueblo says it plans to hire between 300 and 400 workers this year. The jobs are mostly maintenance and operation workers, to help run the Pueblo Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant.
In about two years, that facility will start destroying 2,600 tons of mustard agent, which is currently stored at the Pueblo Chemical Depot.
Site workers are currently in the process of testing the pilot plant.
Not all the jobs are available right now, but you can apply for those jobs online. For more information click here.
