Thanks to downslope wind, afternoon highs today hit the 70's and 80's. In Colorado Springs the high temperature was 74 degrees, Canon City 76, Pueblo 79, La Junta 83, Lamar had the warmest reading today with a high of 84. We're tracking a storm that has the potential to bring a shot of snow to the lower elevations late Monday into Tuesday. The exact track of the storm will determine how much moisture we get in eastern Colorado and the storm is too far away for computer guidance to zero in on it's location by Monday night. Temperatures on Tuesday will struggle to reach the 40's in many locations. Stay tuned for updates as the storm gets closer.
