Pikes Peak United Way President JD Dallager announced today he will retire at the end of June.
"It has been a rewarding privilege and an honor to serve our community through Pikes Peak United Way," says Dallager. "I am grateful to have worked with so many people and organizations who care deeply about this community and who willingly share their time and resources to address critical needs and affect positive change." Dallager has held the job for six years.
"On behalf of the Board of Directors, I can say that we are very sorry to see JD retiring," said El Pomar's Terrance McWilliams, Chair of Pikes Peak United Way's Board of Trustees. "JD has been a transformative, dedicated, caring President and CEO of Pikes Peak United Way over the past six years. We will miss him, but we thank him for all he has done for Pikes Peak United Way and our community, and we wish him and his family all the best."
The Pikes Peak United Way Board is in the process of forming a Search Committee which, over the next five to six months, will oversee a national effort to seek Dallager's successor.
