The Teller County Sheriff's Office is asking that residents in the southwestern corner of Teller County watch for suspicious people who may be starting wildfires.
A news release from the Sheriff's Office reports "numerous unexplained wildland fires in this area." The Four Mile area has been hit the hardest. They ask that citizens be aware of any suspicious persons or vehicles parked along our roadways, particularly in the remote areas. Report all suspicious situations immediately to the Sheriff's Office dispatch center at 719-687-9652
