Undermanned Toronto FC ties Colorado 0-0

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) - Stefan Frei made three saves and undermanned Toronto FC tied 0-0 with the Colorado Rapids on Sunday night.

Frei made two saves in the second half for his third shutout of the season.

Midfielder Oscar Gordan (groin) didn't make the trip while injuries kept midfielders Jacob Peterson (ankle) and Tony Tchani (knee) were out. Midfielder Julian de Guzman served his one-game yellow card suspension for Toronto FC which is winless in five road games.

Matt Pickens made three saves for Colorado, which was without forward Omar Cummings (sprained right ankle) and midfielder Brian Mullan, who served the fifth game of a 10-game suspension.

Connor Casey played only in the first half for Colorado.
