Some U-C-C-S students in the Springs took time today to sort through a days worth of trash.
All of that trash dubbed "Mount Trashmore" was dumped in the quad near the El Pomar Center on campus.
Students and some faculty dug through all of the garbage to look for items that could be recycled.
They picked out things like water bottles, paper, and glass and put them in recycling bins.
They also separated out compostable materials.
in all about 35 people took part in the event to demonstrate just how much trash we all go through in a day.
