The 2011 U.S. Women's Open is coming to the Springs this July at the Boradmoor. If you live near or in the Broadmoor area you'll want to attend a meeting this week, hosted by the City of Colorado Springs and U.S. Women's Open officials.

The meeting is this Thursday, May 26th, at 6:00 p.m. in Colorado Hall at the Broadmoor. Topics on the agenda include: the championship schedule of events, parking information, traffic plan and road closures. Officials will also be available to answer questions. For the meeting free parking will be available at 1st Street and Lake Avenue, across from Colorado Hall.

"We have been working with City officials for over a year to get to this point. This meeting is designed to allow us to present the detailed plans and welcome feedback so that we minimize the impact on residents while maximizing the overall experience of our visitors," Says Douglas Habgood, executive director with the U.S. Women's Open.

The 2011 U.S. Women's Open is July 4 - 10 at The Broadmoor. If you have questions about the meeting call (719) 471-6481 or email womesopen@broadmoor.com
