Pueblo District 60 has decided to cancel classes today at Hellbeck Elementary and Beulah Heights Elementary because of a natural gas line leak.

Students were transported to South High School. Parents can pick them up at the school auditorium, but must show identification.

This started when a natural gas line was cut by a construction crew on Pueblo's south side along Pueblo Blvd. at Aster. That's very close to Beulah Heights.

Xcel Energy says a contractor hit a 4 inch natural gas line on Pueblo Blvd. The energy company says the gas leaked for about 30 minutes, before crews were able to get it capped.
