Two massage parlors busted for human trafficking

COLORADO SPRINGS- Two massage parlors in Colorado Springs have been raided by federal and state authorities in connection with human trafficking.

The two businesses are located in the 1800 block of B Street and the 4000 block of Clearview Frontage Road. 

Detectives from the Colorado Springs Police Human Trafficking Unit conducted the investigation with help from the Colorado State Patrol and Homeland Security Investigations.

Three women were arrested as a result of the investigation. Arworn Hamilton, Misook Sledge, and Sang White are facing charges for human trafficking, pimping, pandering, providing a place for prostitution and suspicion of prostitution.

Two women were identified as victims of human trafficking and have been offered help in their recovery. 

Since its creation in January, CSPD's Human Trafficking Unit has rescued 25 underage victims of prostitution and 34 adult victims.

Additionally, the unit has arrested 7 pimps, 5 "Johns" (with 9 currently under investigation for soliciting for underage prostitution) and recovered over $38,000 in cash.
