Two juveniles arrested for car break-in's

A tip from a resident led to the arrest of two juveniles in Pueblo West over the weekend. They're accused of stealing out of cars in Pueblo West neighborhoods.

The tip led Pueblo County Sheriff's Deputies to a Pueblo West home. After talking to the suspects mother the deputies searched her house with her permission.

According to a release from the Sheriff's office, the search recovered several items of stereo equipment, phone chargers, Colorado issued driver's licenses, and other items that had been reported stolen. Many victims were notified and responded to the Sheriff's Office to identify and claim their property.

A second juvenile was identified during the investigation. Both 17 year old males were arrested and placed into Pueblo Youth Corrections on the following charges:

4 Counts - First Degree Criminal Trespassing
4 Counts - Theft by Receiving
Criminal Mischief
Possession of a Schedule 4 Substance

Other juveniles may be suspected of participating in these criminal activities. If anyone has any information on possible suspects, please contact the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office 583-6250 or Pueblo Crime Stoppers 542-STOP.

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office is reminding citizens to lock the doors when leaving a vehicle unattended and to not leave valuables in a vehicle where they are easily seen.
