The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says two of its former employees have been arrested within the past week, in separate alleged crimes.
Tara Adame, 36, is accused of theft, tampering with evidence, drug possession, and a computer crime. The sheriff's office says anomalies were found during an evidence audit. Cash and prescription drugs reportedly came up missing. Adame resigned from her job as the evidence chief in September, a day after being put on administrative leave. Adame had worked at the sheriff's office since 2002.
In a separate case, Raymond Gonzales, a former deputy was accused of bringing child porn into the county detention center. The sheriff's office says it found the porn on a thumb drive that Gonzales allegedly left in a work computer. The sheriff's office says Gonzales no longer workers there. He had been employed since 2007.
We hope to talk with the Pueblo County Sheriff Kirk Taylor today about the arrests. More to come.
