The Springer Fire has burned 1145 acres and is now 23% contained. Residents within a five-mile radius have been out of their homes ever since Sunday afternoon. It seems there's no timetable as to when they might be allowed back in. Fire authorities say, the fire was started by some one, but are still investigating. Close to 400 firefighters are on scene battling the fire. Officials say, getting the fire fully contained is the priority, and until then, evacuees may not be able to return home. One firefighter was treated yesterday for dehydration, and another was treated for a hand injury. No structures have been damaged so far.
