Two die from injuries in crash last week

An elderly couple has died after an accident that happened on August 12 at Sawyer and Murray Blvd. in Colorado Springs.
A Colorado Springs Police investigation has determined a Chevy Malibu was traveling the wrong way on Sawyer Way when it struck a white Saturn moving south on Murray.
The driver of the Malibu was treated and released at a local hospital. He is identified as Khalil Sanders, 18.
In the Saturn Teddy Allison, 67, and his wife Mary, 71, were critically injured. Teddy died last Wednesday, while Mary died Saturday.
The Colorado Springs Police Department investigation continues to determine if Sanders will face any charges. Sixteen people have died on Colorado Springs roads this year.
