Two deadly shootings in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs Police detectives are busy, with two homicide investigations.
The first shooting death happened at an apartment complex on Radiant Dr. at 9:15 Thursday night. A 23-year-old man was shot in the head. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.
The second deadly shooting happened at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of S. Chelton early this morning. A stretch of S. Chelton Rd. is closed for the investigation. You should avoid the area during your morning commute.
Police have not said if the shootings are related.
