Two men were arrested Wednesday in Pueblo on theft related charges after a witness reported seeing someone moving a wood splitter down a busy northside Pueblo street.

Officers found a trailer parked in the 2000 block of Greenwood. The trailer, which had been loaded with equipment, had been stolen from retired District Court Judge Richard Robb in Rye. He reported the value of the trailer and equipment was nearly $5,000.

The suspects apparently had problems with the trailer and unloaded the log splitter. All the stolen equipment was returned to the owner.

Arrested on theft related charges were Todd Ashmore, 40 and Randolph Graham, 47. Both are from Pueblo. More arrests are likely according to the Sheriff's Office.
