"Turn on the Fountain" Celebration Sunday

The Friends of the Julie Penrose Fountain have raised the money to Turn on the Fountain this Sunday in America the Beautiful Park in Colorado Springs. Refreshments will be served from noon - 2 pm.
The city council cut funding for operation of the fountain last year, because of budget constraints.
The El Pomar Foundation, H. Chase Stone Trust, and the community of Colorado Springs all contributed to the trust fund.
