MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has returned to Colorado's lineup.

Tulowitzki was batting third Tuesday night at Minnesota after sitting out Saturday and Sunday with a strained right groin muscle.

Rockies manager Jim Tracy said he didn't want Tulowitzki to play until he was ready to move at full speed.

Tracy also says he's excited that injured closer Huston Street's velocity was up by 3 or 4 mph in a scoreless inning for Triple-A Colorado Springs on Monday. If this week goes well for him, the Rockies will talk Sunday about activating him from the disabled list.

Street will throw again for the Sky Sox Wednesday and Saturday. He hasn't pitched for the Rockies yet this year because of right shoulder inflammation.
