No new snow is expected Thursday, but the roads will be snow packed today and tonight. While the main highways and roads will be cleared by plows, many secondary roads could be uneasy. If you will be driving, take it slow and add time to your normal commute time. The evening commute and tomorrow morning's commute will also be affected.
Otherwise, the weather story becomes the cold. Most areas will warm only into the 20's this afternoon for highs, though a few spots will be able to manage lower 30's from Pueblo and Cañon City south to Walsenburg and Trinidad. The highs are cold, but realize most of our day will be in the teens with wind chills in the single digits when the wind picks up. Dress in layers to help keep you warm if you will be outside.
