The best women's golfers in the world are at the Broadmoor this week for the U.S. Women's Open. And that includes, perhaps, the best of the best in 22-year-old Yani Tseng from Taiwan.
Tseng is the number one player in the world and the youngest ever to have won four majors. Several weeks ago she won the LPGA Championship by a record 10 shots. She heads into this weekend as the heavy favorite to win the U.S. Women's Open.
Tseng sees to save her best for the biggest tournaments. Half of her wins on the LPGA tour have come in major championships.
Prior to Tuesday's practice round at the Broadmoor Tseng said, "I think I just focus more on a major, and I love a tough course. I love a challenge."
With a win this weekend at the U.S. Women's Open Tseng will complete the career grand slam.
Practice rounds continue on Wednesday at the Broadmoor. The first round of the U.S. Women's Open tees off on Thursday morning.
