NATIONWIDE- When you pack your luggage for a flight, you might want to leave some things behind. Skull fragments, novelty bombs, and flare guns top the list of the most unusual things found by TSA agents so far this year.
Skull fragments were found in clay pots in a checked bag in Florida. After assuming the worst, agents learned the passengers had just bought the pots and had no idea the skulls were inside.
A live smoke grenade was sewn into the lining of a carry-on bag at Dulles International Airport.
A novelty bomb also got the boot, after agents found it in a carry-on bag in Phoenix.
Flare guns are obviously not allowed, but they also turn up.
TSA agents say they snagged more than 1,500 loaded guns through October of this year.
