LITTLETON, Colo. (AP) - Police in Littleton say whoever tied barbed wire across a trail in South Platte Park could face charges of reckless endangerment and assault.
Police say a bicyclist on the Mary Carter Greenway Trail on Sunday evening collided with the wire, which was about one foot off the ground, and was thrown. The cyclist sustained undisclosed injuries.
Littleton police and South Suburban Parks and Recreation said Monday they are increasing patrols along the trail.
