Trial date set for vehicular homicide suspect

A trial date has been set for vehicular homicide suspect Gilbert Sanchez. Back in April, Sanchez is accused of hitting and killing three teenagers from Alamosa at the intersection of Northern and Pueblo Blvd.
Sanchez was in court this afternoon for a motions hearing. Defense attorenys want blood sample and certain statements made by Sanchez supressed as evidence in the case. The judge did not make a ruling on those motions.
The judge set a jury trial date for April 2, 2013. Jury selection is scheduled to begin in March.
