''Trap bags''installed around elementary school

A four day project to protect property in Chipita Park from flood damage is complete. Storms in July caused runoff from the Waldo Canyon burn area to push water into Ute Pass Elementary. ''Trap bags'' are four foot high barriers filled with dirt and sand, connected like an accordion and placed to channel water into drainage canals.
