An expectant New Jersey couple took a train ride they will never forget, yesterday, when they headed to Manhattan for a routine doctor's appointment.
Along the way, the pregnant mother began to feel what she though was false labor. Instead, it was the real thing.
Train officials bypassed stops so they could get to Manhattan as quickly as possible, but they just weren't fast enough. The new mother gave birth to her son on the floor of the train, as it crossed the Hudson River into the city.
The family is keeping the boy's name private, but they did share his nickname: Jhatpat. It means quick or speedy in Hindi.
