Trail under Pueblo bridge to close for a month

The Arkansas River Trail, which runs under the West 4th Street Bridge, will be closed for approximately a month, beginning on Wednesday.
Construction crews are installing rip rap along the shores of the river. Rip rap is made of stone and is used to control erosion.
The trail under the bridge will be closed to pedestrians and bicyclists seven days a week because of the heavy equipment that will be in use during the project.
