Traffic Alert: Platte closed east of downtown tomorrow

Watchout for a major detour this Saturday as Platte Avenue between Union Blvd. and Hancock Ave. will be closed in both directions while construction crews finish paving and re-striping the road.
The closure will be in place from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and alternate routes are suggested. The cone zone will stick around for a few more days with a single lane closure on the westbound lanes from Sunday until Thursday.
Message boards will be posted in the area to warn of the traffic changes.
