Traffic advisory: Peterson AFB Gate change

If you're heading to Peterson AFB, allow extra time for road construction.
The inbound lanes of Stewart Avenue at the West Gate are closed for repair. All traffic has been shifted to the outbound lanes. More than 12,000 vehicles use the west gate on a daily basis.
Peterson officials strongly recommend using the north or east gates. The north gate will open one hour earlier, at 5 a.m., to accommodate an increase in traffic and alleviate potential congestion.
Construction is expected to last through the end of the month.
