Tow truck driver funeral set for Tuesday

Colorado Springs Police Officers continue their investigation of the dragging death of a tow truck driver on Wednesday.

They report "this is a complex investigation and we've got to take our time to get it right."  No one has been arrested.  The truck driver was attempting to tow a vehicle when someone got in it and drove away.  The tow truck driver, Allen Rose, became tangled in a cable and was dragged for more than a mile.

A spokesperson for the Rose family said this afternoon funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Colorado Springs First Church of the Nazarene.  The service will be open to the public.

A fund has been set up to help the Rose family at Key Bank.  You can make a donation at any branch.  Make sure your check says Allen Rose Memorial Fund on it.
