A helicopter shuttled tourists between Peru's Machu Picchu Mayan Ruins and nearby towns.

It's all part of an effort to evacuate 2,000 tourists stranded in the Andes. The tourists were trapped in a jungle town at the foot of Machu Picchu in eastern Peru. They became trapped after the heaviest rains in 15 years flooded the site over the weekend.

An Argentine tourist and a Peruvian guide were killed along the trail in separate mudslides and two other deaths were reported over the weekend. A fifth person was killed when a hillside collapsed.
