Tire tread to blame for fatal accident near Walsenburg

A Colorado Springs woman is dead and three others injured, after a roll over crash on I-25.
Colorado State Patrol says a group of women, in a 2000 Dodge Durango were traveling southbound I-25 near Walsenburg, when the tread on one of the tires went out. They say the driver lost control and rolled their Durango. All four women were thrown from the SUV.
Troopers say 33 year-old Bernadette Scott died at the scene. Breanna Ortiz, Viktoria Flores and Tawnya Schaus, all in their 20's, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers say "bad tire tread" is to blame for the accident.
